Answers, straight.

Anyone who meets the competition’s eligibility rules. You tell us your age band, country and the languages you sing in when you apply, and eligibility is checked then — applying doesn’t guarantee a place. Age thresholds are still to be confirmed (D03).

Some categories admit minors. A parent or guardian gives consent first, and no recording is stored before that consent is recorded. Minors are private by default: public pages never show a minor’s name, photo, region or school.

Creating an account is free, and no fees or payments are part of this release.

Any listed language — or add yours when you apply if it isn’t listed. What the analysis can measure differs by language, so each capability is shown separately, and anything it can’t measure reads “Not assessed”.

A single continuous performance, recorded in your browser or uploaded. Uploads resume if your connection drops, and you get a receipt. The judges hear exactly what you recorded.

File formats, size and length limits are set for each round and are still to be confirmed (D08). The competition pages show them as soon as they are.

No. The AI personas present automated measurements — pitch, timing, phrasing — as evidence. Human judges review every score and decide every result.

Four presentation personas over one analysis pipeline, each labelled as AI. They are not four independent judges and none of them decides anything. STAR is AI-assisted: its scores come from human reviewers.

The analysis couldn’t measure that aspect reliably for your language, tradition or recording, so it shows no number rather than a guess.

Each competition’s organizer publishes its judges once appointments are confirmed. Judges declare conflicts of interest before judging, and a conflicted judge never sees the entry concerned.

Each round has a results target on the timeline. It is a target, not a promise: results become official only after human judges approve them and the organizer publishes them.

Appeals follow the competition’s published rules. The appeal window is still to be decided (D05).

The judges assigned to your entry review it. Published results show only the public representation the rules allow — and minors are private by default.

Not yet. Every document is shown with its version and is marked “Pending legal review” until that review is recorded.

A practice studio for signed-in members: choose your tradition, find your Sa and practise starter exercises with a live pitch trace. Your voice is analysed in your browser, and the reference profiles are pending review by qualified teachers.

No. Nothing you do in the coach is ranked, published, shared or used for judging.
